200TB SSD, 2022년 출시?!

Nimbus Data 사에서 200TB SSD에 대한 정보가 나왔습니다. 

A record-breaking 200TB solid state drive could be announced by Nimbus Data before the end of the year, the company has hinted. In an email exchange with TechRadar Pro, CEO Thomas Isakovich revealed the existence of the next-generation drive. “We are working on a successor to the 100 TB SSD that will deliver even more capacity, performance, and energy-efficiency than the ground-breaking 100 TB, and expect to deliver this next-generation SSD in 2022," he told us.

하지만 스펙 및 가격 등, 조금 더 깊은 정보에 대해서는 말을 아끼는 모습을 보였는데요

 

앞서 Nimbus Data 는 2018년 3월 100TB SSD 를 발표해 화재를 모았습니다. 

 

이때 당시 삼성전자에서 30TB SSD를 발표하고 난 직후라 더욱 관심이 모아졌습니다. 

 

40,000 달러 짜리 저장장치...

 

Nimbus Data 에서 내놓은 100TB SSD는 40,000달러... 

 

원화로 하면 4,922만원 입니다..

 

물론 이는 일반 사용자용이 아닌 기업용이니 가격대도 기업급(?) 이겠지요?

 

저와 같은 일반인이 쉽게 접할순 없지만 이런 제품들이 나와주면서 점점 기술이 보급화 되어가는 것도
